Have you been attending FreshStart Sunday services and experienced the gripping drama, cutting-edge music, and thought-provoking videos that, combined with engaging and relevant teaching, have made you call FreshStart home? If so, then maybe it’s time for you to get more connected.  If your desire is to be more involved and active in FreshStart Church, then take the next step and become part of the team!  We have many exciting arenas to choose from:
Technical Arts
Lighting Operator:
Join the excitement on Sunday mornings.  Help set the “mood” with lighting for a variety of elements in the Sunday morning services.  No experience necessary.  Minimum commitment: once a month. 

Computer/Video Operator: This opportunity is easier than it looks!  We are looking for more teammates to help us run song and message slides, videos and other creative elements on Sunday morning.  Computer experience is helpful but not required.  Minimum commitment: once a month. 

Video Production: If you have experience in video production we could use your expertise!  We have a variety of projects that we would love to do.  Help us take this ministry to new levels. 
Drama
Drama Actors/Actresses: Do you ever wish you could be someone else?  Have you ever thought you could do well at drama but were too afraid to jump in?  Your time has come! 

Set Design and Construction:  If you have artistic tendencies and/or love working with your hands we would love to have your help designing and building sets for our Sunday morning services.  We rearrange our sets about once a month and we could use about 5 people to jump in and help us out so Sam won’t have to do it all. 
Service Programming
Service Coordinators:  If you are good at thinking about multiple things at one time and have good people management skills consider being a service coordinator.  This person’s primary role is to make sure that everything flows well in our services.  No experience necessary- we will train you.  Minimum commitment: once a month.

Ushers and Greeters:  Have you ever come in to church and there was no friendly face to greet you or no one to help you find a seat?  Maybe you could help us become even more friendly to our guests by being an usher or greeter.  We would love to have about 20 more friendly people join this vital ministry.  Minimum commitment: once a month. 
Music

If you have a passion for expressing your love for God through music the FreshStart Worship Team may be a great place for you to get connected.  We are always looking for talented musicians to join our team.  If performing’s not your gig there are several other opportunities available in the Worship Arts Ministry. 
Children's Ministries
Children are our future and our goal is to provide our kids with the foundation that Jesus loves them and they are very special!  If you have a heart for children and would like to volunteer your time in the nursery, toddler room, pre-school, or G-Force, please contact Kathy at Kathy(at)freshstartchurch.com.

FreshStart’s Children’s Ministry is always looking for a few good volunteers to show the Love God to our FreshStart Kids.

Nursery Worker - This job would be to love and hold those precious little ones that get entrusted to us for an hour each Sunday.  The age group in the nursery is newborn to walking.  We strive to have two adults every Sunday.  The time commitment is one Sunday a month from 9:30 – 11:30!

Toddler Room Worker - This job would be to help guide the children through a planned lesson and activity that will be prepared for you.  Help the kids with a snack and oversee play time!  We strive to have two adults every Sunday.  The time commitment is one Sunday a month from 9:30 – 11:30!

Pre-School Worker- This job is to guide the kids ages 3-5 through a detailed lesson plan filled with fun activities, songs, bible stories, and crafts which have already been prepared for you.  We strive to have two adults in every class.  The time commitment is one Sunday a month from 9:30 – 11:30!

Cleaning Needs- This job would be to clean the Children’s rooms.  This includes wiping down the toys in the nursery and toddler room, running the vacuum, and using lots of Lysol.  This usually takes about one and a half hours a week.  This can be done anytime during the week that the church office is open, Mon, Wed., Thurs., and Fri., during the days.  The time commitment is 1 ½ hours once a month. 

FS Kids Welcome Center – This job is to see that every child is greeted and checked into their class on Sunday morning.  This includes registering new comers and explaining the basics of the FreshStart Kids program to parents and showing the way to their class.  We strive to have two adults at the Welcome Center on Sunday mornings.  (Ideally, the same 2 adults)  The time commitment is each Sunday from 9:30 – 10:15!

FS Kids Prep Work – This job is to print out, copy and gather necessary items for activities each week for the leaders on Sunday.  This can be done anytime during the week that the church office is open, Mon., Wed., Thurs., and Fri.  The time commitment averages about 2-4 hours per week.
