We understand that new experiences can be intimidating... especially visiting a church for the first time. Below are some of the most common questions we receive along with answers that may help you better enjoy your experience.
| What are the services like? |
We have a friendly, casual atmosphere and make every effort to ensure that you have an engaging and relevant experience that is applicable to real-life situations. To accomplish this, we use a variety of methods including multimedia, video, drama, music and conversation.
| What are the people like? |
You’ll find real people. We strive for authenticity and real community. Our members come from many walks of life and are in many different places on their spiritual journey.
| Do I have to stand up in front of people? |
No! We do not point out our visitors, make them wear name tags, or embarrass them in any way.
| What do I wear? |
Whatever you like. Shorts; jeans; whatever makes you comfortable.
| What is the music like? |
That depends on the day you attend. You will hear a wide variety including 3 Doors Down, Evanescence, Styx, MercyMe, Steven Curtis Chapman and Casting Crowns. Our worship time includes, among others, music from 3rd Day, Passion, Hillsong and Chris Tomlin.
| How much time do you spend talking about money? |
Very little.
| Why do you want my money? |
Actually, we don’t. We do take an offering for our regular attendees so we can pay our expenses such as the building and electric. However we specifically mention during the offering that our services are intended as a gift for our visitors, and we do not expect you to participate.
| Will any religious beliefs be forced on me? |
Absolutely not. We encourage open dialogue and respect one another. You will not be subjected to emotional manipulation or pressure. We encourage an atmosphere where people can safely explore spiritual issues. We know you must make your own choices for them to be meaningful.
| Why a business park? |
The church is not a building, but a body. And while we will get a place of our own someday (we’re currently looking for land), our main focus is on people, not buildings.
